Village Launch!!!
Village Launch is an organization that “exists to equip under-resourced entrepreneurs to become providers, creators, and producers in their communities. “ Joining this class in the summer of 2021 was totally outside my comfort zone.
When in the class, I would sit quietly because most of the information I was learning was my first time hearing. I was trying to soak up all I could mentally. I would come home every Thursday night to re-tell everything learned and taught in class. Being surrounded not only by phenomenally entrepreneurs but facilitators and mentors was the best part!! The mentors were entrepreneurs from all over the Upstate, who owned coffee shops, former restaurant owners, consulting companies, former brand artists, HR personnel, commercial artist, fine art artist, and photographers, all looking to connect and give advice! Not only that, we had multiple guest speakers whose businesses that not served locally but nationally. It became an incubator for everyone sitting there; new ideas would grow, and old ideas would be challenged while encouraged to keep thinking.
It is a part of Village Launch that has taught me how to courageously and actively pursue my dreams while giving me the tools and connections to do so! Thank you Village Launch, Mill Village Ministries, and the AMAZING entrepreneurs of Greenville County!!
